Railway is part of a series exploring nostalgia. Nostalgia is more than a yearning and has become part of a post-digital aesthetic: it is central to the authenticity found in the ‘handmade’ and the ‘artisanal’ or the use of older technologies, such as the polaroid or the hi-fi record player, which are prized for their softness or purity.
